About Ashley Wellness Center
In 2008, Gundersen Health System and Ashley Furniture partnered to open the Ashley Wellness Center (AWC). The AWC is a primary care clinic available to over 4,000 Ashley employees and their family members in and around Arcadia WI. The clinic team is comprised of approximately 20 staff working in many clinic areas. The clinic brings additional services to patients through specialty outreach and telemedicine for orthopaedics, podiatry, nutrition therapy and diabetic education. On-site medication dispensing is available as well as optometry for patients with eye care needs. The clinic offers 63 patient care hours per week (6am-6pm weekdays and 9-Noon on Saturdays), a reduced visit cost, no insurance filing, and all of the infrastructure and resources available to staff at Gundersen primary care clinics.
The AWC clinic is designed to reduce many of the barriers that often prevent individuals from accessing care and improving their health, including affordability and convenience of care. Our team based approach to care and the many services available on one corporate campus make this model truly innovative and unique compared to other healthcare delivery models and patient options.
